Midfielder, Paul Acquah is nearing full recovery for Accra Hearts of Oak and could be in line to be called to action soon after seeing a tremendous rise in his fitness level.
The player had very little of pre-season training with the Phobians after picking up an injury just after their programme started.
However, the good news for fans of the club is that he is nearing full recovery after following the detailed programme drawn for him by the team’s medics.
And the player sounds confident that he could be back actively on the field soon to contribute to the success of the club this season.
“I have been working hard to get into shape and to be considered for selection by the coach,” Acquah told the club’s official newspaper, the Hearts News.
He indicated that all is on course for him to make a full recovery from his situation which he described as unfortunate as he was getting into his prime.
“I thank the Accra Hearts of Oak medical team for the excellent work they have done on me so far and I am confident that this final phase of my recovery programme will also go according to plan,” he added.
