The Public Relations Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Mr. Kweku Ahenkorah has revealed that under-fire Trainer, David Duncan has been informed by the management of the club to improve his playing style.
David Duncan has come under intense pressure from the fans of the ‘Porcupine Warriors’ after failing to record a single victory in four matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
A crisis meeting was held on Monday and reports emerged in the media that the former Hearts of Oak trainer will be sacked if he is unable to steer Kotoko wins over Hasaacas, Aduana Stars and Liberty Professionals.
But the club’s spokesperson, Mr. Ahenkorah has dismissed those claims insisting that management of the Kumasi based side only discussed how to get victories in their next matches.
“Not at all, It [Duncan Sacking] wasn’t raised at all. It wasn’t one of the issues discussed. We also discussed how to improve the ailing fortunes of Kotoko, beginning with the next match against Hasaacas,” Ahenkorah told Kumasi based Ultimate FM.
