A member of the Executive Group of Accra Hearts of Oak and the Chief Executive Officer of Saabrown Limited, Mr. Adu Brown Nyame has donated an undisclosed amount of money to the club for their great come in their game against Inter Allies at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Phobians looked to have been put to the sword by Inter Allies who went two goals up early in the second half of the Week Five encounter with goals from Fredrick Acheampong and Gockhan Ahortor.
But Hearts rallied back to wrestle back all three courtesy Isaac Mensah close range finish and a brace from substitute Ibrahim Musah.
Mr Nyame, who was present at the match venue to watch Kenichi’s men, was impressed by the resilience of Hearts to come back from two goals down to win the tie was full of praise for the 19-time Ghana League champions.
Speaking in an interview with Starr FM in Accra, he said, “In recent times there is no team in Europe that has come back from two goals with less than twenty five minutes to equalize and go ahead with a win. This overwhelmed me to give this amount from my own pocket and from now on, any stupendous performance I will reward the team,”
Hearts of Oak have now gone five matches unbeaten with just a draw against Dwarfs and will face unbeaten WA All-stars at the Accra Sports Stadium in their next league outing.
