Preaching on the last day at the Digging Deeper Conference 2016 inside Trinity Baptist Church, Oasis House, Rev. Eastwood Anaba, Founder and General Overseer of Fountain Gate Chapel and President of the Eastwood Anaba Ministries gave a touching sermon on the message title “The Supremacy of Jesus”.
He said “as a believer, your knowledge and realization about your supremacy over demons in Christ Jesus gives you a great advantage in every sphere of life you find yourself in. You need to develop your faith to speak a word that will bring healing, restoration and deliverance to the situation”.
Once, in the Bible a Roman Centurion approached Jesus seeking for the healing of his servant. Jesus asked for where the servant laid, but the Centurion knowing who he was in his office of operation told Jesus to only give His word and his servant would be healed.
Matthew 8:5-13 (KJV)
5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
“Whatever condition and situation you find yourself in as a believer you don’t need money to solve that problem, you don’t need politics to solve that problem, you don’t need a legal answer to solve that problem, all you need right now, all you need in your situation is to speak the Word (scripture). The word of God is more refined than silver and gold. It is sweeter than the honeycomb. When the word of God heals you prosperity will follow”, Rev Eastwood continued.
3 John 2 (KJV) – Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth
Rev. Eastwood went on to say that, “many times when people are healed they need a psychologist. Sometimes, after being sick for a long time you lose confidence. Your impression about who you are changes. You begin to look down on yourself”.
The word of God is so powerful that it is able to transcend all generations and break all barriers. You must know your stand in Christ and with the person of the Holy Spirit living in you there is nothing you cannot possess if only you will exercise your faith and authority.
Be a doer of the word!
