Yamoah Intensifies Rehabilitation Programme

Injured Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Richard Yamoah is intensifying his rehabilitation programme hoping to be fit soon to return to the field.

The player was injured in Hearts’ second Ghana Premier League (GPL) game of the season at Tarkwa against Medeama SC, and, started light training last week.

Club medics have put him on a special recovery programme that would quicken his return to fitness and the player himself is eager to return to action.

“My recovery programme is ongoing and hopefully, I will be back on the field soon to join my colleagues,” he told the club’s official newspaper, the Hearts News.

“I am happy and comfortable with the rehab programme drawn for me by the team’s medics; in fact, they have been very helpful and I am most grateful to them,” Yamoah added.

The player hopes to make a full recovery before the first round of the GPL ends to play a part in the club’s anticipated success of the club at the end of the season.
