Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogbe has released a video message, wishing compatriot Raymond Commey well ahead of the Later’s upcoming bout in China.
Raymond Commey has been granted the chance to vie for the World Boxing Authority (WBA) International Super Bantamweight title against Jun Qiu Xiao of China for the title scheduled for the Olympic Park Lunch, Zhou, China on February 12.
The Ghanaian boxer will make an attempt to annex the enviable title to enhance his chances of targeting a world title later in the year.
Commey has 15 fights with two loses to his credit, with Qiu Xiao having 21 wins with two losses.
Ahead of the bout tonight, Isaac Dogbe who also has an upcoming bout against Daniel Pappoe at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex on February 20 has released a video, wishing Commey well.
“The Chinese man does not fight boxing. Go there and bring back the tittle” Dogbe said in the video.
“Boxing is not Kung-fu” he remarked.
”We are all behind you[Commey] and supporting you in prayers. you are a great fighter, you are strong and the whole Ghana believe in you.
“So go there and do your best. The best that you’ve been doing in how you fight. You are a great fighter and the whole of Ghana is behind you. when you bring this tittle to Ghana, your life will not be the same.
“So go there and prove to the Chinese People that you are from Ghana and you are from the Coast side, thats why they call ‘Chorkor Banku” Isaac Dogbe added.
