Having won four medals in the Rose Hill Series the national badminton team are confident of making an impact in Thomas and Uber cups Africa Preliminaries which is scheduled to start tomorrow, Tuesday 16th February also in Mauritius.
The tournament is a qualifier for the World Men and Women team Championships finals in China in May this year,and will also help the players build up points in order to make the upcoming Olympic games in Rio in August
One of the brightest spot in the team Daniel Sam will be in a good position to qualifier for the games considering his points build up which is very encouraging.
The winners of the male and female teams in the Thomas and Uber Cup will represent the continent of Africa in the finals.
