Former Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Phillip Boampong has revealed he will be seeking for floating status of the Ghana Football Association.
The player who had spent close to a decade with the Phobians was placed on transfer days before the closure of the transfer window, and his card given out to Hasaacas.
But negotiations between both Boampong and Sekondi Hasaacas stalled due to differences with terms of the engagement.
“I have spoken to both officials of Sekondi Hasaacas and Hearts of Oak and I can confidently say that I will not be playing for Hasaacas as rumored earlier.”
“I need to get my card and be ready for the second transfer window, hence my decision to seek for floating status at the FA”.
