Techiman City Will Surprise Everyone - Mickey Charles

President of Techiman City Football Club, Charles Kwadwo Ntim has said that Techiman City will play in th Ghana Premier League without any problems.


Techiman City were demoted to the third tier of Ghana football — Division two for alleged match-fixing to influence results of their match week 22 Division One League fixture against Wa African United.


The Techiman-based club has appealed the decision reached by the Ethics Committee but the Appeals committee is yet to respond to the Club’s request.


But the filing of an appeal and stay of execution according to Article 37 (17) means Techiman City is still a premier league club.


And Charles Kwadwo Ntim popularly known as Mickey Charles in football circles says the team is ready for the league and will surprise football fans in the country.


“Techiman City was prepared and is still prepared for the league,” Mickey Charles told sportscrusader.com.


“Coach Yussif Abubakar is ready with his boys and I can tell you Techiman City is going to play the Premier League (this season) and there will be full of surprises.” He stated.


Techiman City will host Berekum Chelsea at the on Match Week One of the premier league on Sunday at the Techiman Park.
