Chelsea have been handed a timely boost ahead of their trip to Paris Saint-Germain as John Terry trained in full on Monday.
The Blues’ skipper landed awkwardly after a challenge from Aleksandar Mitrovic against Newcastle at the weekend and despite attempting to run off the problem was replaced by Baba Rahman shortly before the break.

Guus Hiddink admitted concern and confirmed his captain would undergo a scan on his hamstring on Sunday. But it appears Terry has come through unscathed and should be available for the Champions League last 16 first leg clash.

John Terry return from injury to boost Chelsea’s confidence for PSG game.
Chelsea will be hoping to avenge their defeat by PSG last year, when a header from former defender David Luiz knocked them out of the competition. If Terry wasn’t to make it, they would revert to the backline that finished the thrashing of Newcastle at Stamford Bridge. Branislav Ivanovic would be forced into the centre with Baba Rahman coming in at left back.
The Blues have returned to form under Guus Hiddink after Jose Mourinho’s exit and Gary Cahill, who could partner Terry at the heart of the defence, says they are heading into the game against the French champions with renewed confidence.
