The President of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Alhaji Ali Raji has attributed the competitive nature of the ongoing Ghana Premier League to the successful organization of the G6 tournament prior the league.
The domestic league has been without a sponsor after three matches but has produced a high standard of play so far and the GHALCA top man has linked the league’s relative excitement to the quality of the pre–season G6 Tournament.
“The domestic league is kicking now, thanks to the G6″, Alhaji Raji told Starr FM in Accra.
“The pedestal in which GHALCA took the league immediately after the G6 Tournament has made the ongoing league what it is in terms of standards, broadcasting, branding, commitment and marketing of matches ahead of league games,” he added.
In a related development, Alhaji Ali Raji has confirmed he will vie to retain his position as Chairman of GHALCA in April’s election.
