GN Bank DOL Week 3 Wrap Up

The GN Bank National Division One League Match Week two fixtures were honoured over the weekend across all three zones with some exciting results produced.


 


Top among the bill was the game between Gold Stars and Ambitious Elmina Sharks with the Elmina based side grabbing a vital point in a fairly entertaining encounter in Bibiani.


 


Gold Stars have been noted for their home invincibility but Sharks were able the hold them to a stalemate to keep their hopes of qualifying to the Premier League and ensure that their unbeaten start to the season continue.


 


Elsewhere in Zone Two, Eleven wise recorded an impressive 2-1 away win at Tarkwa United with Samatex succumbing to a 2-1 away defeat to Corner Stones in Kumasi.


 


In Zone One, Berlin FC had the bragging right in the Brong Ahafo derby by recording a 1-0 victory over highly fancied Berekum Arsenals. Bolga All Stars thrashed struggling B A United by 2 goals to nothing while Utrectch lost 3-2 at the Tamale Academy Park to Mighty Royals.


 


Nania FC recorded their first game of the season in Zone 3 against King Solomon at the Legon Park with newly promoted Vision FC losing 2-0 away at Istanbul.
