Willie Klutse Slams Inter Allies Goalkeeper Kwame Baah

Technical Director of Inter Allies Mr. Willie Klutse has expressed dismay over the attitude of goalkeeper Kwame Baah following his side’s 3-2 defeats at home to Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Tema based side was in control of the game, leading the Phobians 2-0 but the league leaders rallied from behind to win the game 3-2.

Inter Allies goalkeeper Kwame Baah failed to report to the pitch on time after the half time break and Klutse smells something fishy about the former Heart of Lions shot-stopper’s attitude.

Speaking to Asempa FM in Accra on Monday, the former Ghana international stated that he is struggling to come to terms as to why Baah decided to join the fray in the second half three minutes after the teams have been ordered to appear on the pitch.

“After the half time break, the team went to the dressing room. When we returned, for about three to four minutes we didn’t see our keeper on the pitch”, Klutse said.

“All the technical bench and referees were on the pitch but we couldn’t find our goalkeeper. I approached the technical team and they told me Kwame Bah was asked to change his shirt by match officials.

“I asked whether they went to the prematch meeting and they said yes. I asked whether the keeper’s shirt was agreed upon and they confirmed it.

“The goalkeeper used the shirt for the entire first half and there was nothing wrong with it so what happened?” he added.

Willie Klutse further noted that he is tempted to believe that the goalkeeper’s attitude has something to do with the result. He also revealed that Kwame Baah had a confrontation with team manager of Inter Allies following the incident.
