DC To Decide Hearts" Fate Today

The Disciplinary Committee (DC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), will meet today to address Accra Hearts of Oak’s request for a stay of execution of the ruling that imposed sanctions on them.

Hearts of Oak were slapped with a hefty ban and fined for their inability to control their supporters in a Premier League defeat against Wa All Stars.

The club exercised it’s right to appeal the three home games to be played behind closed doors, and, request for a stay of execution until the matter is duly investigated and cleared on Tuesday.

And Sportscrusader.com has gathered that the DC will meet today and take a decision on their request. Hearts will hope that their appeal is upheld to pave way for officials – Kwame Opare Addo and Barimah Atuahene who were banned to stay away from all football related activities for the next two years and fined GH¢ 6,000 each to continue with their services to the club.

The Appeals Committee is also expected to release their verdict after the meeting today.
