ADF Donates To Baseball Volunteers Ghana

In their quest to promote the growth of Baseball in Ghana, the African Development Foundation (ADF), a New York based organization, on Saturday donated to the Baseball Volunteers Ghana.


The donation which was done at the University of Ghana in Accra saw the ADF hand over two sets of Baseball shirts, one, baseball caps and a bucket of balls to the Tema All Stars and the University of Ghana baseball team.

Addressing the teams after the donation, President of the ADF, Mr. George Ntim pledged continues support to baseball in Ghana and encouraged young players not to give up on the sports.


“All I can tell you [The Players] is that continue to play. In terms of the equipment, we will continue to supply you with the equipment and any other resources that we may find.


“You just keep the spirit, continue to play and you will never know. One day, one of you can end up in the States playing for the Yankees or the Mets. So keep on Playing and we are here to supports you”, Mr. Ntim said.


The Donation was followed by an exhibition game between the Tema All Stars and the University of Ghana baseball team.
