Kotoko Place Hefty Price Tag On Dauda Mohmmed

Asante Kotoko will consider selling Dauda Mohammed to any club who is ready to pay $1 million, according to Michael Osei.

The 19-year-old ended last season as the Porcupine Warriors’ second top scorer with eight goals, behind Amed Toure but has already equalled that feat half way into the ongoing campaign.

“I am not aware of any local offers for him but I’ve heard there are interests from abroad. I don’t think they [local clubs] have what it takes to buy Dauda,” Osei told Asempa FM.

“Kotoko will consider selling him for $1 million when the right time comes because he’s a great player with bright future,” he added.

Dauda, who is part of Ghana’s U20 squad in the ongoing African Youth Championship qualifiers, scored a hat-trick last weekend against Techiman City in a six-goal thriller, taking his tally to five in his last three games.
