Gideon Baah Maintains Fine Run In New York Heavy Win

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender Gideon Baah maintained his decent form in the Major League Soccer in another heavy win for New York.

The Ghanaian continues his search for starting berth after his spell on the treatment room with another masterclass performance in a 3-0 win over Toronto.

American forward Bradley Wright Philips registered a treble to extend New York’s ruthless form in the division.

Gideon Baah came off the bench to open his scoring account in a surprise 0-7 away win at NYCFC in the New York derby last week.

The lanky sweeper joined the MLS side from Finnish club HJK where he excelled playing across the back four in the past two seasons.

The Ghanaian missed a chunk of the season due to an early season injury setback but look set to be reinstated into the starting XI after his energetic performance from the bench in the 3-0 win over Toronto.
