The New Executive Council of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), will pay a courtesy call on the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Sports Ministry and National Sports Authority (NSA) on Wednesday June 1.
The Association, which is the mother body of all league clubs in Ghana, held it’s elections about two months ago to elect officials to steer the affairs of the association for the next four years.
Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Premier League (GPL) side, Ashanti Gold, won the elections at the expense of Kofi Poku, Nana Oduro Sarfo and Isaac Wilberforce Koomson who also contested for the seat.
He was sworn into office earlier this month with his team, and they will pay a visit to the football governing body of Ghana, the Youth and Sports Ministry and NSA to introduce themselves officially.
The team will pay the call to the offices of the FA first before calling on the other two heads of the country’s sport.
The new executive council include:
Kudjoe Fianoo – Chairman
Alex Akumey – Vice Chairman
George Amoako – Treasurer
John Ansh – Premier League Representative
George Offosuhene Peprah – Premier League Representative
Somtymer Otuo-Acheampong – Division One Representative
