Randsford Osei Comes Off The Bench To Score Season Opener In Finland

Nomadic Ghanaian forward Randsford Osei came off the bench to register his opening strike for ROP in a dramatic home defeat to SJK.

The former Black Satellites attacking prodigy left his mark on the 66 minute after his arrival as a second half replacement for the ineffective Alexander Kokho.

Robert Taylor rightfully gave ROP a first half lead before Roope Riski levelled matters for the visitors.

Randsford then took matters into his own hands on his arrival at the start of the second half of the game with his opening strike of the season to restore the lead for the host.

Two more strikes in the latter stages of the game however turned the score line on its head and hand the maximum points for SJK in a painful 2-3 home reverse.

Randsford Osei who has since failed to capitalise on his 2009 global accolade at the World Youth Championship has endured a hugely nomadic career at just 25 years.

The Ghanaian however look destined for European football next season with his midtabe side after they finish second last season.
