“We will soon start a league. In the next few weeks, we should role up a national league that most of the teams which are centered in Accra will participate”, he said.

“It requires logistics, it requires sponsorship, we need to study the weather pattern. But in some few weeks, some three weeks time we should have something good”, Mr. Banzini added.

The BVG Director also revealed that, the league will be a one-venue league, but admitted that it will come with challenges.

“We want to do one type of venue but if it is one type of venue then transportation factor comes in for those teams that are far.

“So we need to come with the teams and reach a compromise regarding the venue and hopefully we will reach a final decision soon”, Mr. Banzini said.

He also called on cooperate Ghana and lovers of baseball to come in and support the league.
