Akunnor Target Bettet Second Round

Charles Akunnor says his technical team will take advantage of the break to work on the minor issues that caused the team maximum points in the first round of the League.

The debutants have sold a phenomenal brand of football to soccer fans across the globe and finishing the first part of the season in sixth place after fifteen matches.

Manager Akonnor has come under barrage of criticisms in recent times following his team’s inability to hold on to their leads after faltering against Liberty Professionals, Medeama and Accra Hearts of Oak.

But the former Eleven Wise Coach says things will change in the second round.

“I must emphasize that we are doing well despite our minor mistakes,” Akonnor told dreamsfc.com after Sunday’s stalemate against Hearts of Oak at Dawu.

“The team is playing well. We sometimes lose concentration and we are punished for that but I feel that generally we are not bad at all.

“Going forward we need to develop the ability to kill games and that is what we are going to do during the break,” Akonnor emphasized.

“The first round is over so the players and my technical team will work on all the wrongs before the League resumes in June,” Manager C.K Akonnor ended.

Dreams FC is competing in the Ghana Premier League for the first time in the clubs history. Dreams FC won six games, drew 5 and lost four games in the first fifteen matches of the 2015-2016 season.
