The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has banned Real Bawku United for five years and fined them GHC¢50,000 after they failed to play four consecutive matches in zone one of the Division One League (DOL).
The decision means the GFA and the Division One League Board will expunge all points and goal build-ups of Bawku Real United FC.
A segment of the ruling by the disciplinary Committee reads:
“Real Bawku United FC is hereby suspended from the leagues of the Ghana Football Association for a period of Five(5) years effective this 2015/16 football season in accordance with Article 6(3) of the Division One League Special Regulations and Article 14(3) of the GFA General Regulations.”
