The South African Football Association (SAFA) has announced that, its men’s football team, Bafana Bafana will play the Black Stars of Ghana in an international friendly on 11th October 2016.
The fixture will serve as a preparatory game ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt, after playing the Cranes of Uganda on the 7th October.
A statement from the SAFA reads:
“Bafana Bafana will face the Black Stars of Ghana (Tuesday, 11 October) in an international friendly match that will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
“Kick-off is at 19h00 and tickets are already on sale at R80 all round. They can be purchased at Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers.”
Meanwhile, coach of the Black Stars, Avram Grant is expected to name his 23-man squad for the World Cup qualifier against Uganda early next week.
