Lloyd Hits Double As United Routs City

Ex-Ghana international, Lloyd Sam, scored twice to earn DC United a landslide win over Orlando City.

The veteran forward rounded-off an impressive night with two sumptuous strikes for United in a commanding 4-1 win in the MLS.

The Ghanaian hitman atoned for his slow start to the season with a stunning strike in the 34th minute to hand DC United the lead before completing his double in the 51st minute.

Compatriot, Patrick Nyarko, played his part in the demolition exercise with an assist for the third goal of the clash on the stroke of half time.

Nyarko spotted Mullins with one minute to half time and the latter wasted no chance in doubling the lead for the host.

The pair have since been integral for United all season as they marched towards the Eastern Conference play-offs spot.
