Disciplinary Committee chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Addo has revealed that he will quit his position after the current football league season.
Prosper Addo, who is a seasoned lawyer and also well-known on media issues in Ghana as well as a member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), has served as the chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana football association for two years.
And in the 2015/16 season, he was tagged as the one who chaired the Hearts of Oak-Asante Kotoko protest case that almost resulted in either of them being relegated to the 2nd tier of Ghana football.
He disclosed on Happy FM sports that; “After this very league season, I’ll call it a day on the Disciplinary Committee Board. I put in too much time and effort and I think the time has come to move on to other things.
“I need a different challenge in my life because after serving for 2 years as the chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and two years on the Disciplinary Committee as chairman of this board, I feel I’ve given everything and therefore will quit when the season ends.”
Prosper Addo attended the Ghana School of Law and was called to the BAR in 2001. He holds a degree in Economics and Law from the University of Ghana and an MBA from the Salford Business School in Manchester, UK.
