WCQ: Uganda Step Up Preparations Ahead Of Ghana Clash

The Cranes of Uganda will hold a high profile training camp in Lome, Togo, before facing Ghana on October 7, an announcement made by the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) reveals.

Uganda beat Togo 4-0 on aggregate to qualify for the final round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Togo will now provide the mock exam before the start of the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Ghana and Congo next month.

“The training camp will culminate into an International Friendly to be played on 4th October in Lome against The Togolese national football team,” the Fufa statement reads in part.

Thereafter, Uganda’s Cranes will fly out to Ghana the following day for the group E game. Congo Brazzaville and Egypt complete the group.
