Operations Director of West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), George Ofosu Nyarko, has expressed his joy over his team’s impressive win over Hearts of Oak as they beat them by 3 -0 to end their away unbeaten in the week 23 showdown of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The Academy Boys exhibited their ‘razzle dazzling’ brand of soccer which dazed the Phobia boys, making them look very poor and unequal to the challenge thrown at them.Simply put WAFA played terrific and flawless football on the day.
In a post-match interview after their victory over Hearts, Ofosu Nyarko said: “before the game, I told numerous broadcasting outlets that we were going to end Hearts of Oak’s impressive run, we made it a priority to take all three points and I’m happy we did.
“People criticized us for our poor outing in Accra against Hearts, but today, we proved our worth.”
WAFA occupies the seventh position on the 2015/16 GPL league table and have one of the best defenses in the league, having conceded 16 goals so far with seven matches to end the league
