The Black Stars are due to play the Amavubi of Rwanda in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on 3 September, 2016 and will play 2018 World Cup host, Russia on September 6, 2016.

After their first training session which lasted for an hour, Nyantakyi said; “I will like appeal to you to focus on the preparations. Let us put all the issues that confronted us behind us.

“The upcoming matches as per the coach’s program, will serve two purposes, thus; to confirm our participation to the Africa Cup of Nations and also as the last competitive match before the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda in October.”

Meanwhile, 13 players have arrived so far and it is expected that by Thursday, all the players will arrive.
