Ghanaian Youngster Strikes In Debut

Ghanaian youngster and, Manchester City loanee, Yaw Yaboah, has set his sight on scoring more goals after his opening strike for FC Twente  in the Dutch Eredivise.


The Ghana youth international forward, unleashed a thunderbolt  from just outside the box in a 3- 1 win for Twente at home to a toothless Spartha.


The Ghanaian import joined the Dutch outfit from Manchester City in search of playing time, and has so far exceeded all expectations since arriving from the Itihad in the summer.


The attacking hotshot openly admitted to the ardent task ahead of him but revealed his readiness to sustain his impeccable form in the division.


Speaking to reporters after his debut goal for the Eredivise side, Yaw expressed his excitement after the opening goal and reiterated the need to keep his form going into the latter stages of the season.


“It was a fantastic goal and a great feeling to score my first goal. I hope it continues like this.


“As an attacker, I have to score and provide assists and that is exactly what I have done.


” I only need to stay focused and work hard to keep my form across the season.”


The teen sensation spent last season on loan  at Lille and has since been farmed out to the Dutch side in search of playing time.


Manchester City manager, Joseph Pep Guardiola, hinted at giving extended playing time to the Ghanaian forward in the coming campaign after taking over from Manuel Pellegrini.
