Amartey Confirms Readiness To Play As  Midfielder 

Black Stars defender, Daniel Amartey, has revealed his readiness to play as a cental midfielder after making his full debut for the reigning English champions.


The Foxes centre-back excelled hugely as a midfielder for his side in a 2-1 win over Swansea and has openly admitted falling in love with his new position .


Claudio Ranieri named his Ghanaian  import as a surprise midfielder at home to Swansea in a dominant performance.


The winter arrival from the Danish league however confirmed his versatility with a MAN-OF-THE-MATCH performance at home to their Welsh opponents.


In an interview with LCFC TV, the Ghanaian credited Jamie Vardy for their blistering counter attacking game.


“I enjoy playing there because I can play every where.


“If I get the opportunity, I will show off my talent anywhere on the field.


“It is teamwork and, we have to keep working hard as a unit.


“That is our strength (counter attack) and, it is because of Jamie Vardy’s speed.”


Amartey joined Leicester City FC in the Winer transfer window.


Compatriot duo of Jeff Schlupp and Joe Dodoo missed out for their respective clubs due to injuries.
