Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan is having medicals with United Arab Emirates side, Al Ahli.
The 31 -year old was on the verge of joining Championship side, Reading but a purported medical failure led to the deal falling through.
Gyan during his previous exploits with Al Ain scored 95 goals in 83 league matches from 2011-15 helped Al Ain clinch three top-flight titles, he also won won three Golden Boot awards and scored the winner in the 2014 President’s Cup final against Ahli.
Gyan will fly to Ghana tomorrow to lead the Black Stars in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations final Group H qualifier against Rwanda on September 3, 2016.
