Official: Daniel Sowatey Inks One-Year Deal With Xaghra

Ex-Ghana Youth defender, Daniel Sowatey, has signed a one-year deal with Maltese second tier side Xaghra United after a successful 2-week trial.

Sports crusader initially reported on the proposed deal tabled by Xaghra United for the services of the Ghanaian import who was hoisting high the flag of Ghana in Bulgaria.

Exclusive information gathered by Sports Crusader suggests the former Nandom Black Bulls centre-back has been a long term target for the Maltese side in their quest to seal top flight football.

The stoutly-built centre-back parted ways with Shumen 1929 at the end of the 2015/16 European season after a stellar career in Bulgaria.

He is expected to make his debut for his new club on September 3, 2016 in an FA Cup tie.
