Confirmed: Black Stars To Play Russian Counterparts

Ghana will play Russia in a friendly in Moscow on September 6, the Ghana Football Association announced on Friday.

The Black Stars will play Rwanda in the Africa Cup of Nations final qualifier that will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday September 3, 2016.

The team would then fly out to Russia a day after the last qualifier against Rwanda.

The Black Stars have already qualified for next year’s tournament in Gabon after amassing thirteen (13) points so far from 5 games played.

Captain, Asamoah Gyan  has been included in the 23-man squad, with West Ham’s Andre Ayew and Jeffery Schulpp missing out due to injury.
