Hearts Have A Better Chance Than Kotoko To Win League - Yahya Mohammed

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko forward, Yahya Mohammed has tipped Hearts of Oak as the more likely to win the Ghana Premier League trophy than his former employers.

The former Tema Youth forward, speaking ahead of their must-win encounter against West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) this weekend, acknowledged that, the Phobians are in with a better chance of winning the GPL than Kotoko.

He said; “Hearts’ chances to pull a surprise to annexing the league title is brigther, compared to Kotoko as they have two home games and, with two away games [with the best away record on their side].

“Kotoko are fourth on the league log and the point difference between them and leaders, All Stars, is four and have two tough away games in a row against Medeama and defending champions, Obuasi Ashantigold SC.

“Should both teams (Aduana Stars and Wa All Stars) mess up, Hearts are the likely side to win the 2015/16 league title.”

Yahya currently plays for Aduana Stars and has same goal tally as Latif Blessing (13-goals each) with his side also involved in a two-horse title chase with Wa All Stars.
