Gyan"s Camp Debunks Failed Medical Reports

Spokesperson for the Asamoah Gyan Group of Companies, Samuel Anim Addo, has debunked suggestions that Asamoah Gyan’s move is off due to medical failure.

Various media outlets reported earlier that Shanghai SIPG and Black Stars striker, Asamoah Gyan has failed a routine medical at the club’s medical facility ahead of his imminent transfer to the Championship side.

However, Samuel Addo has declared that it is propaganda by some of the media outlets to drag the name of Asamoah Gyan in the mud, but has vowed to release a press statement in due time to clear the air.

Speaking on Happy FM to explain the situation, Samuel Addo said; “I can assure every follower of Asamoah Gyan that there is no iota of truth in what’s been making rounds in the media. We are yet to fathom what constituted this lie, but we’re treating it as propaganda against Asa.

“We are being begged by the club’s chief executive officer to sign for them and Asamoah Gyan has even posted something in regards to the issue on twitter.

“We’ll be releasing a press statement on the issue in due time to clarify the issue. I can emphatically say that there is no truth that Gyan has failed a medical and therefore his move to the club has collapsed.

“The President and his son has flown in from Cyprus to see that the move goes through, and even the technical director has been on our neck to sign, but Asamoah Gyan has personally told them to wait. I have all the evidence with me here, but you can follow the issue on Gyan’s twitter handle and you’ll understand the situation better.”

Asamoah Gyan was declared as surplus to requirement by his parent club, Shanghai SIPG, after the club signed Brazilian striker Hulk for 50m pounds from Zenit St. Petersburg.
