Medeama Reawaken Their Confed. Cup Triumph Dream

Ghana sole representative in Africa’s Confederation Cup competition Medeama SC have reawakened their qualification dreams with a 3-1 win over Young Africans on Tuesday at the Sekondi stadium.


 


The impressive Abbas Mohammed bagged a brace for Medeama after Daniel Amoah had scored the opener in the 7th minute of the game,Young Africans pulled one back, but was not enough,as they were defeated by 3-1 in a Group A clash.


 


Medeama stayed third, behind Mouloudia Bejaia on goal difference, but those placings could be reversed Wednesday if the Algerians lose to leaders TP Mazembe in the Democratic Republic of Congo.


 


The Mauves will travel to Algeria to face MO Bejaia before hosting Table toppers TP Mazembe at home.
