Arsenal and Roma have reportedly agreed a second loan spell for goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a clause to make the move permanent for £13million.
Szczesny’s future has been unclear for some time with the 26-year-old admitting last month ‘he’d love to know’ where he’d be playing next season.
Roma and the Gunners were said to have been struggling to agree on a deal due to a disagreement over who should cover the keeper’s £46,000-a-week wages.
However, Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim both clubs have now reached an agreement and Szczesny will return on loan for the 2016/17 season.
The report says Roma have included a clause to buy the Poland international for £13million at the end of his loan.
Szczesny has been in London awaiting news on his future and is now set to fly out to Boston for Roma’s pre-season tour in the USA.
He had a solid season with the Italian side last term, making 42 appearances in all competitions and keeping nine clean sheets.
