GPL Match-Day 21 Preview: Sekondi Hasaacas v Dreams FC

Sekondi Hasaacas will seek to bring their 2016 Ghana Premier League (GPL) back on track when they host debutants Dreams FC at the Sekondi Stadium at Essipong on Sunday afternoon.

They have failed to win in their last three games (two defeats and a draw), and, have dropped into the relegation zone with 22 points from their 20 games played.

The Green and White’s will need to get points on board as soon as possible if they are to save their season with nine games to be played after this weekend’s round of games.

A win in Sunday’s encounter could see them move to 10th on the log if other results go their way and, this could be their inspiration as they chase their seventh win of the season.

Dreams FC will have something to say about that though as they have proven to be one of the best away performers this season, having won three of their games away from the Dawu Park.

Another win on Sunday could see them jump to second on the log from their present fifth position, and, it will be interesting to see how the home side will respond.

Dreams FC won the first round tie 2-1 at Dawu and it will not be out of place to say they could do the double over their hosts in this Match-Day 21 encounter.

Hasaacas will have to come out to prove otherwise and, this is what the neutral observer will look out for in Sunday’s encounter in the twin port city of Sekondi-Takoradi.
