Ghana Duo Steer HJK To Crucial Europa Win

Ghana duo of Anthony Annan and Richard Gadze guided HJK Helsinki to a vital away win in the final hurdles of the 2016/17 UEFA Europa league.


The pair steered the Finnish giants to a surprise 1-2 away first-leg win against Swedish side, IFK Goteborg ahead of the return leg next week.


Richard Gadze extended his impeccable form with the Finnish side, putting them in pole position for a place in the group stages of the tournament.


The 22-year-old forward played in his third European game of the season in the priceless win at Goteborg, Sweden.


Compatriot, Anthony Annan, starred prominently for the ambitious visitors throughout the game to boost their qualification chances, with the return slated for next week


The former Accra Hearts of Oak midfield gem lasted the full throttle of the game whiles Gadze made way later in the game after receiving a late booking.
