GPL Continues With Midweek Thrills On Wednesday

The Ghana Premier League (GPL) will continue on Wednesday at seven of the eight centers as the Match-Day 22 games are cleared.


Leaders Accra Hearts of Oak will be home to defending champions AshantiGold SC who are 11th at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra in what will be the top-liner of the midweek thrills.


Hot on the heels of the leaders are second placed, Wa All Stars who will trek down south to the port city of Tema to play 15th placed and relegation threatened Inter Allies at the Tema Sports Stadium.


Aduana Stars who are third on the table, will have their game with fourth placed Medeama SC at the T&A Park, Tarkwa postponed due to the latter’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup on Tuesday against Tanzania’s Young Africans.


Bottom club, New Edubiase United will welcome fifth placed and an under pressure Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the Gyamfi Park, Bekwai for their second game at the venue since relocating there this second round.


Dreams FC who are sixth on the log, will return to the Dawu Park after their weekend excursion to the Western region to play eighth placed, Berekum Chelsea.


Under firing Liberty Professionals, who are ninth, will welcome 12th placed Sekondi Hasaacas to their Dansoman base.


Tenth placed Techiman City will make the short trip to Bechem to face the might of Bechem United who are 14th in a Brong Ahafo regional derby at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.


Inform Ebusua Dwarfs who are 13th, will host the West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) at the Robert Mensah Stadium, Cape Coast.
