GPL: Huge Boost For Liberty Ahead of Hasaacas Clash

Ahead of their Ghana Premier League Week 22 clash against Sekondi Hassacas on Wednesday, Liberty Professionals have received a huge boost in their team selection as they welcome four of the five key players who missed last weekend’s game against Aduana Stars.

Skipper Samuel Sarfo, midfielder Gerald Arkson and top scorer Latif Blessing have all recovered from their injuries while midfielder anchorman Edward Ebo Mends returns from a one-game suspension following his sending off against Medeama on Match week 20.

The only notable absentee for the fame against Hasaacas will be striker Bernard Arthur who is yet to recover from a slight illness.

The return of the quartet will be huge sigh of relief for the Scientific Soccer Lads who have struggled to win games in recent times.

Liberty Professionals have recorded a win in their last six outings and are currently sitting 9th on the log with 9 matches to go.

A win over Hasaacas in midweek will be a huge morale booster as the Dansoman based side prepare for their MTN FA Cup semi final fixture with Division side Okwawu United on Sunday.
