GPL Match-Day 21 Preview: Techiman City v Inter Allies

Ghana Premier League (GPL) debutants, Techiman City will look for their seventh win of this season’s campaign when they host Inter Allies on Saturday afternoon.

This Match-Day 21 fixture is set to come off at the Ohene Ameyaw Park, Techiman where the home side are unbeaten in the league having won all their games but for two which ended in stalemates.

They will therefore feel very confident of collecting all three points as they welcome a side to the Brong Ahafo region that is yet to record an away win all season.

Techiman City has 23 points and are 12th on the table with a game in hand and, they could go ninth with a win if other results go in their favour.

They will be the bookmaker’s favourites to win this one after earning a valuable point in a 1-1 draw at Tema in the first round of the competition.

Inter Allies are 14th and fighting relegation and, will need to start putting together some good results if they hope to avoid the drop.

They have the league’s fourth poorest defensive record together with New Edubiase United, and Ebusua Dwarfs and, if they hope not to add to the 22 goals they have conceded, then they will need to play well in their final third to achieve this.

Winning in Techiman will be a very tall order for the Tema lads and, they will need to prove many doubters wrong in doing so.
