The ‘love affair’ between TP Mazembe and Ghanaian players reignited this week as Congolese Champions have made an official bid for Medeama SC midfielder Malik Akowuah for an undisclosed fee.
If the deal should be sealed the midfielder will be joining countrymen Daniel Nii Adjei, Gladson Awako, Richard Kissi Boateng, Yaw Frimpong and Solomon Asante.
Akowuah who was very impressive against TP Mazembe when his side lost by 3-1, could be on his way to the Congolese League after officials of TP Mazembe submitted a bid to the management of Medeama, according Ghanasports.
The hardworking 25-year-old has been one of the consistent players for Medeama in the last two seasons.
