Ghana Premier League (GPL) high-fliers, Aduana Stars will be the odds on favourites to collect the three points when they host New Edubiase United in their Match-Day 19 encounter on Sunday.
The Fire Boys are fourth on the table with 30 points, two behind the leaders Wa All Stars, and, could go top with a win over the bottom placed team if other results go their way.
Aduana Stars since joining the Ghanaian top-flight have been very formidable at their Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, and, they will count on that as they go in search of the three points.
They are the league’s top scoring club having netted 28 goals in 18 games, and, with United having one of the poorest defences in the league; we could be in for a goal feast.
Aduana Stars have championships ambition this season, and, they will seek to take that a step further with victory over a side that has lost 10 of the 18 games they have played.
A win will be the 10th for the home side this season and they should be up for it as they look to put pressure on those above them.
Pressure is on New Edubiase United to perform as they occupy the last spot in the 16-club contest, and, if they hope to beat the drop, they should start winning games.
It seems however that it will not start at Dormaa on Sunday afternoon as they will come up against a very formidable opponent that is on form.
The onus will be on United to come out and prove the pundits wrong in a game they are huge underdogs and could go down to a heavy defeat if the front men of Aduana Stars find form.
