Kwesi Appiah Resumes Training With Crystal Palace

Ghana’s sensational striker Kwesi Appiah has started preseason training with Premier League club Crystal Palace after being sidelined for a year with an anterior cruciate knee injury.

The 25-year-old English-born Ghanaian player is a part of the Eagles’ preseason tour to North America which will see them face MLS sides Philadelphia Union, Cincinnati Ohio and Vancouver Whitecaps later this month.

The talented striker has made six appearances for the Black Stars have scored his first international goal in the quarter-final victory over Guinea in the 2015 African Cup of Nations.

Appiah’s inclusion is a major step forward for the striker, who suffered a serious knee injury while on international duty with the Black Stars in June last year.

The Palace player yesterday on his tweeter feed expressed his joy at being back at training with his parent Club Palace after being sent on loan Reading FC.
