Bundesliga side Hamburg have offered £8million to sign Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew from Aston Villa, according to the Daily Mail.
The 24 year old former Lorient attacker arrived at the Villa Park at the start of the 2015/16 Premiership and has been one of the few bright spots for the Villains as they endured a terrible campaign.
Ayew who still has a contract with relegated English Premier League side Aston Villa is said to be a major target for the French Club Bordeaux as well as Galatasaray who are also keen on signing the striker
However new Villa owner Tony Xia told the Birmingham Mail last month that signing a new striker was “a priority” and selling the Ghanaian would only up their need for extra attacking acquisitions.
The Black Stars striker had earlier pledged his future to Aston Villa after emerging as the Club’s top scorer in the English Premier League last season.
