Ghanaian youngster, Reagy Baah Ofosu, has inked a two-year deal with Dutch side NEC Nejmigen.
The 24-year-old German-born Ghanaian joined the Eredivise side on a free transfer after seeing off his contract with Austrian side, SV Grodrig at the end of the 2015/16 European season.
The Hamburg-born forward signed an initial two-year deal with a renewal option after impressing officials of the Dutch side in preseason.
Ofosu left SV Grödig last season, where he played in the last six months, sixteen games in the Austrian Bundesliga. He previously was under contract with Chemnitzer FC, FC Ingolstadt and Hamburger SV.
Technical Manager of NEC, Danny Hoekman, expressed his delight at the arrival of Ofosu.
“With Reagy, we get creative, fast attacker in the house that is used primarily on the left side, but also on the right or shadow striker from the feet.”
Ofosu joins in the selection training camp in Garderen later in the week.
He could likely be partnered up-front by another Ghanaian, with Quincy Owusu Abeyie, inches away from a professional contract.
