Ghana Premier league leaders Wa All Stars FC, have kicked off a campaign against hooliganism in Ghana sports.
The wa based top flight campaigners preached against the viral attitude currently facing Ghana football especially in the second tier league.
General Manager of the league leaders, Seth Panwum, a known advocate of fair play rallied administrators and all stakeholders to help fight the deadly attitude facing our game.
In an emotional message released by the General Manager of league leaders, Wa All Stars wishes to distant itself from any such attitude that will mar the beauty of the game in the interest of Ghana sports.
“The name of the game is fair play and we must abide by it as much as possible. Hooligans at match venues must be spotted by all stake holders and dealt with accordingly.
The media, security personnel, club administrators, the playing body and all stakeholders must unite to help stop hooliganism in the country. Club officials must accepts the outcome of matches irrespective of the venue to give a clear picture to the fans.
As a club, Wa All Stars will like to officially distant itself from any act of hooliganism and will urge other clubs to follow suit. LET US UNIT TO STOP HOOLIGANISM IN GHANA SPORTS”, Seth Panwum told sports crusader.
The Wa Park is noted for its peaceful nature headlined by the four best behaved center in succession.
The 2016 domestic season is faced with recurrent hooligan cases across the nation, notably in the GN Bank division one league.
