Dreams FC captain, Abdul Bashiru, has tipped his side for a late surge on the title race.
The experienced left-back of the premier league newbies, refused to rule out any serious challenge for the domestic Championship after their surprise away triumph at the Damsoman park.
Abdul Bashiru took the pressure away from the side though, dubbing the league trophy as a bonus to the club.
“Why not on the main trophy if available?
“Why can’t we go all the way if the opportunity comes our way?
“We are not bent on lifting the trophy but don’t rule us out of any late title charge.
“We are Dreams FC and continue to dream almost on anything feasible” Bashiru told sports crusader.
Dreams FC currently occupy the sixth place on the league log with 29 points, five adrift of the leaders, Accra Hearts Of Oak.
The Dawu-based side has been in the news for the wrong reasons in the past week but a title-winning campaign looks set to quell all that.
