Ghana youth international shot stopper Lawrence Atti Ziggi remains confident his troublesome 2016 season will pave way for a breakthrough campaign next year.
The Leifering custodian endured an injury ravaged season which has limited his appearance in the current campaign after an impressive debut season on his arrival last year.
The Black Satellites goal keeper however believes the current lessons will be instrumental to his form next year.
The confident speaking custodian also played down his concession rate in the season citing injuries to key players as major factor.
Speaking to www.sportscrusader.com after his sides 1-4 home reverse to LASK, the Ghanaian import called for patients ahead of the new season.
“It has been a good season for me because I have really improved a lot and have learnt a lot of lessons too.
I am looking at giving my best in training and staying focused ahead of the next season.
I believe next season will be very important in my career as a goal keeper”, Attitude told sports crusader.
On his concession rate , the lanky shot stopper said, “injuries to our key defenders cost us a lot but we lost to a very good side. Two of our central defenders got injured and we just collapsed like that”.
Lawrence Atti Ziggi has been tipped to give the current crop of custodians in the National teams a good run for their money in the immediate future.
The shot stopper starred prominently for Sellas Tetteh at the 2015 World Youth Championship in New Zealand.
